Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update – April 2

San Francisco Giants at Arizona Diamondbacks

The National League game with the highest Vegas run total today is this one and with Tim Hudson and Trevor Cahill on the mound for their respective teams, it’s no wonder why. The 26 runs these two teams have combined for so far this series is also another pretty good reason.

There are some Giants that have raked against Cahill in the past: Hunter Pence, Pablo Sandoval, and Angel Pagan all have at least 15 at-bats against Arizona’s “ace for now,” and all of them are hitting at least .333 against him.

Hunter Pence (OF) – $6727

Angel Pagan (OF) – $6835

Pablo Sandoval (3B) – $6440

There aren’t many hitters with an extended history against Tim Hudson (the only regulars with over 10 ABs are Paul Goldschmidt and and Miguel Montero with Montero having the most at 13 so there aren’t many slam dunks in this one. I will say that Mark Trumbo is off to a pretty hot start to the season and has hits in both his career ABs against Hudson. Needless to say, I will be avoiding both pitchers at all costs in this one.
