Philadelphia Phillies at Texas Rangers
In the final game of this interleague game, Kyle Kendrick is going for Philly while Robbie Ross will be making his first career start.
This game promises to be one of the higher scoring games, but the only good piece of information I’ve found for Robbie Ross is this: he’s a reverse-splits LHP. As most lefties are tougher on left-handed batters, his career OPS against is actually nearly 200 points lower against lefties than righties. I would probably stay away from Ryan Howard, but Chase Utley could be just fine if you can fit his salary.
Chase Utley (2B) – $6910
I won’t be taking Robbie Ross in this one, and no single player for the Rangers has a lot of history behind them facing Kyle Kendrick. Here is one interesting note: Prince Fielder, Shin-Soo Choo, Adrian Beltre and Donnie Murphy are a combined 11-for-26 with four home runs against Kendrick. If players were looking for a team to stack, the Rangers make a good one tonight.
Adrian Beltre (3B) – $8699
Donnie Murphy (SS) – $6489
