Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Values – March 31

Madison Bumgarner

Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays

R.A. Dickey gets the Opening Day start for the Jays and although his season wasn’t that great, Dickey did have success in Tampa Bay last year: the knuckleballer managed a 2.45 ERA and a WHIP of 0.96 over three starts (22 innings). There are a few theories that he pitches better in a dome (he did in Toronto), so Dickey wouldn’t be a terrible option for DFSers looking for a cheap option. Also, the only Bats that I would target is pretty expensive, but Joey Bats has owned Price over the last couple of years.

R.A. Dickey (SP) – $16,700

Jose Bautista (OF) – $8743

David Price has typically mowed down the Blue Jays and is only about 1000-dollars more expensive than Dickey. With that said, Jose Bautista has really done well against Price lately and this could be a fairly low-scoring game. I don’t really love any bats for the Rays but James Loney has been able to get on base at a good rate against Dickey in the past. I would only take Price if I decided not to take Dickey in the game.

James Loney (1B) – $5450
