Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Plays and Lineup – February 22

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

There is a eight-game slate tonight in the NBA. Get your lineups in as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Louis Williams, ATL ($7,495)

Today’s write-up could be verbatim to yesterday for Williams. He is too cheap across the industry, and after putting up over 30 fantasy points last night, Williams is hot. Tonight the Hawks face the Knicks, who just gave up over 120 points last night. Once again, LouWill could be one of the best values in DFS tonight.

Forward

Kyle Singler, DET ($7,652)

Singler has been the talk of the DFS community in the last few weeks, and for good reason. He is averaging well over 30 minutes per game in the month of February, and is averaging 19 fantasy points in his last seven games. Should Singler reach his average, that would be great value at forward tonight. The Pistons face off against the Dallas Mavericks who are playing their second game in as many nights. Look for Singler to reach value tonight and continue to be the talk of the DFS community.

Center

Enes Kanter, UTAH ($10,703)

We have all been waiting for Kanter to reach fantasy relevance, and it seems he has turned a corner. In the last six games, Kanter is averaging over 21 fantasy points per, and has two straight double-doubles in convincing fashion. Did Kanter turn the corner in his career? No one knows, but take advantage of the hot streak while it lasts. Tonight the Jazz take on the Timberwolves, and Ronny Turiaf should not be able to shut Kanter down. Expect a double-double and good value from the big man.

Optimized Lineup
