Chicago Blackhawks at Nashville Predators
The Blackhawks have won four of their last five games, scoring 25 goals over that stretch. Whoa.
That’s not to look down at Nashville, who is playing pretty well as a team of late: The Predators have won three straight games (NYR, DAL, SJS) and have allowed just four goals against in those contests.
These two teams have only met once so far this year, a 7-2 demolishing of the Blackhawks at the hands of the Predators, Nashville’s biggest margin of victory and Chicago’s largest margin of loss so far this season. I don’t read a lot into one game, and that was back when Marek Mazanec was playing some all-world goaltender, but this game should be an evenly-matched contest, probably a 4-2 win either way.
I wouldn’t be a big fan of the higher-priced players in this game, but would have some value picks here and there.
