Anaheim Ducks at Detroit Red Wings
There are many teams really struggling through injuries, none more so than Detroit. This tweet came out about the lines they will be using tonight:
Lines at the skate: Jurco-Datsyuk-Alfredsson, Miller-Andersson-Tatar, Cleary-Glendening-Eaves, Bertuzzi-Sheahan-Samuelsson.

Their top six consists of two players who started the season in the AHL (Tatar, Jurco), one winger who’s previous career-high is 25 points (Miller) and Joakim Andersson, who has 18 points in 78 career NHL games. Yikes. This has led to them losing five games in a row for the second time this year (lost seven straight in November) and a shell of the team some thought they might be.
Anaheim, meanwhile, is absolutely rolling. Boasting the second-highest point total in the NHL, the Ducks can take over first with a win tonight and a regulation loss from Chicago.
I don’t really expect this one to be close, even though the score may be. Anaheim has been pretty good on the road, but Detroit has been a mess at home. Combine injuries and uncertainty in net on top of the net, and quack quack quack.
