Here’s a handful of tweets from the tweeternet detailing news/moves that should come as a surprise to no one. Indeed, there’s nothing better for some of these teams to do than fire the losers and reduce payroll. There are sure to be many more expected moves during the MLB postseason/offseason, so we’ll divide these updates into separate posts.

Issues raised in this installment: Josh Hamilton‘s durability, Matt Bush‘s duration in jail and Chone Figgins‘ feelings.
