GPP thoughts for 12/29 DraftKings Slate:
Tonight’s slate on Draftings comprises of 10 games with a couple of matchups jumping off the page. Dallas is in a great spot but their high salaries and projected ownership will give you something to think about. There are other teams in good spots as well but this slate will be decided by Dallas’ performance. For this slate I think it is a good idea to have an about equal percentage of Dallas lineups and non-Dallas lineups for GPPs.
Top Stacks for 12/29 DraftKings Slates:
Calgary – In Calgary’s last 7 home games they are averaging 4.29 goals. Tonight Calgary is at home against a struggling Anaheim team. Target the Flames with a stack of Monahan, Gaudreau, Hudler, & Giordano. At $23,200 this stack is very affordable considering the Flames recent output at home.
Toronto – Toronto will face the Islanders tonight on the second leg of a home and home. On the first leg in New York the Leafs were victorious 3-1. Tonight Greiss will get the start again for New York and I expect Toronto to get the puck past him again tonight. I will target this game with a smaller stack of Bozak, van Riemsdyk, & Parenteau. At $14,100 This is a real cheap base that allows you to spend up elsewhere.
Florida – Ben Scrivens has a .893 save % in the AHL this season. Tonight Scrivens will start in a NHL game for the Montreal Canadians on the road against Florida. There is not much more to say other than the stack I want is one of Huberdeau, Barkov, Jagr, & Ekblad for a price of $21,000.
Dallas – Columbus has given up at least 5 goals in 4 of their last 6 games and tonight face the potent Dallas offense. I believe the way to play Dallas tonight in GPPs is going all-in rather than sprinkling in a couple of players. A Stack of Seguin, Benn, Sharp, & Lehtonen will run $30,600 and while extremely expensive I think enough value can be found on a 10 game slate to make it work.

Jake Gardiner ($3,000) Toronto – Gets power play minutes and has gets a good matchup.
Colin Miller ($3,500) Boston – Gets power play minutes on a very good power play unit.
Chris Wideman ($2,800) Ottawa – Gets power minutes and is good for some blocked shots and shots and goals.
Brad Hunt ($2,500) Edmonton – Has some offensive skills and might get some power play minutes in his first game since being called up.
