GPP thoughts for 12/21 DraftKings Slate:
Tonight’s slate is a great slate to try multiple lineups in GPPs. With three of the eight games featuring road favorites there are multiple opportunities to find and exploit value. Also with no extreme favorites on the slate Vegas is telling us that the games should be competitive, so do not be apprehensive in riding with your hunches.
Top GPP Stacks for 12/21 DraftKings Slates:
Nashville – Nashville gets a struggling Montreal team that lost seven of their last eight games. In each of their past seven losses the Canadians have given up at least 3 goals to their opponents. All pieces from Nashville are in play but for a stack I want to target a combination of Jarnkrok, Neal, Wilson, and Weber. At $18,400 this stack leaves room to spend up at other locations.
Colorado – Colorado has won five straight and are in a good spot tonight at home against Toronto. Colorado also ranks in top ten of goals per game with 2.8 GF/G with most of their struggles coming on defense. I will target a mini-stack of Mackinnon, Duchene, and Landeskog at a price of $18,800. While expensive this stack has multiple goal potential, which is something you need if you are going to spend up.
Winnipeg – Winnipeg gets a struggling Edmonton team that has lost 3 straight and gives up 3.1 GA/G. Winnipeg has scored more than 5 goals in three of their last seven games and both of their top two lines have produced. Winnipeg’s top lines rank 1 and 2 in goals over the last 10 games. I will be stacking both but prefer a cheaper stack of Scheifele, Perreault, Stafford, and Byfuglien. At $19,300 this stack is too cheap for their production potential.
Cheap defenseman to use to fill out your stacks.
David Warsofsky ($2,600) Pit – Will see power play time and gets a good matchup.
Nick Holden ($3,100) Col – Will see power play time and gets a great matchup of the night.
Nathan Beaulieu ($3,100) Mon – Will see power play time and is now paired with Subban.
Mattias Ekholm ($3,000) Nsh – Cheap exposure to Nashville and can contribute on offense.
