There’s now fewer than 30 days left until The Masters so everything is about gearing up for Augusta National, whether it’s getting in the field or getting your game sharp for the season’s first major.
This week the PGA Tour continues its Florida Swing with the Valspar Championship on the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort.
PICKS:
Luke Donald ($9,900) – Won this event in 2012 and has finished no worse than in a tie for sixth in his last four starts here. Recorded a tie for seventh two weeks ago at the Honda Classic.
Brandt Snedeker ($9,500) – Has a pair of top-10s to his credit at Innisbrook and is coming off a tie for 17th last week at Doral.
Kevin Na ($8,300) – Tied for ninth last week and should come into the event with his confidence high. Was the runner-up here last season. .
Sang-Moon Bae ($7,500) – Started the wrap-around season with a win at the Frys in October and has three finishes of tied for eighth or better in nine PGA Tour events since. He lost in a playoff here in 2012 and tied for 14th last year.
Will MacKenzie ($7,400) – Tied for fourth at Copperhead last year and is coming off a tie for sixth in Puerto Rico last week in the event opposite the WGC at Doral. Has three top-10s in five starts this season.
Boo Weekley ($7,100) – Also finished tied for sixth in Puerto Rico and has six top-15 finishes in his last nine starts. Came close here before with a second-place finish in 2013.
