XN Sports is introducing a new daily fantasy site called Victiv, which has one of the best features in all of daily fantasy, in addition to a sleek design, and a few ways to play daily fantasy football.
After you have signed up, be sure to take on Victron. This is Victiv’s computer, and if you beat it, you can win cash prizes. This is yet another way to play daily fantasy football, so try Victiv today.
On Victiv, you are given $50,000 in cap space to play a lineup composed of a quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, two FLEX, and a defense/special teams. The scoring is a regular half-point PPR scoring system, which can be found in detail on the site.
How can we beat Victron, other players and win real money? First, sign up for Victiv here.
Second, take a look at XN Sports’ Cheat Sheet and lineup for Victiv for this weekend’s slate in fantasy football:
In a cheat sheet, we will list our top plays in terms of value at each position in order.
Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers $8,300
Tom Brady, New England Patriots $9,800
Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts $9,400
Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks $9,900
All four quarterbacks are excellent options, but Russell Wilson‘s price being the highest throws the value towards Rodgers. Of course, he is bothered by a calf injury and the Seattle defense is among the best in the NFL, but a chance to get Rodgers as the lowest-priced quarterback seems foolish to pass up. With all the quarterbacks being the four highest-priced players, price almost doesn’t matter. That being said, an additional $1,600 for Rodgers over Wilson can be a big difference with the rest of your lineup.
Running Back
Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks $7,900
Dan Herron, Indianapolis Colts $6,700
Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers $8,000
LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots $2,800
There are only three running backs that are known to get carries this weekend, but one of them has a tough matchup (Lacy) and one of them will be owned everywhere (Lynch). That leaves Herron and Blount as two relatively cheap options. In GPP, they would be good options to go towards, but in cash games I would put Lynch in every lineup to be sure that you have the top back on your team. Lynch has the best remaining matchup against the Packers, and the Seahawks are running the ball very well of late. Make sure you have enough cap room to have him in your lineups.
Wide Receiver
Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers $6,000
Doug Baldwin, Seattle Seahawks $4,400
Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts $3,600
Wide receiver is tough this weekend because of the amount of star corners playing. Darrelle Revis, Vontae Davis, and Richard Sherman take away some of the top options. Finding guys like Cobb and Wayne will be essential to success this weekend, as the slot players and wide receivers who move around will be the more targeted players by their quarterbacks. You can save money at wide receiver this week, which will allow you to spend on the top options like Lynch and Gronkowski.
Tight End
Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots $6,200
Another week in playoff DFS , and another week that Gronkowski has to be rostered. The difference between Gronk and the other tight ends is outrageous, but the price is not. At just $6,200, Gronkowski needs to be in every lineup in cash games. The only way I could fade him is in a GPP, because if he busts (unlikely with a top matchup and a touchdown rate among the highest in NFL history) you could shoot to the top of the leaderboards. Remember Gronkowski’s last game against the Colts, where he caught a touchdown pass in a highlight-reel play, then was flagged for blocking a Colts player into a piece of equipment in the end zone.
Good luck this weekend, and enjoy the last slate of over one game this NFL season. Get started at Victiv here.
