Video: RotoExperts.com’s Drew Dinkmeyer won $1M playing daily fantasy football on DraftKings.com. He joins CineSport’s Noah Coslov to lay out the best way to win playing fantasy basketball.
Daily Fantasy Basketball is in full swing, which means each day XN Sports will have a column detailing advised plays and lineups for the remainder of the NBA season. For those familiar with DraftKings, their daily fantasy basketball is formatted differently this season. There is no multi-position eligibility, which makes it a bit harder to set your lineup.
For those unfamiliar with DraftKings, you are given $50,000 in cap space to select a point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, center, a guard, a forward, and a utility player. There are no points deducted for missed shots, which changes the strategy from other sites. To read the full scoring, click here. Keep in mind that a double-double awards a bonus, which can be the difference between cashing in and winning nothing.
Generally, the goal for value is at five times a player’s salary, plus five points. That brings a lineup to 290 fantasy points, which will cash each day.
Give DraftKings a shot, as there will be a few freeroll opportunities each night in Daily Fantasy Basketball. Click here to play.

There is a lot of news that will affect lineups tonight, stay informed before tip.

Cheap Plays:

Lavoy Allen, Indiana Pacers $3,800 (if Hibbert is out)
Pero Antic, Atlanta Hawks $3,000
Notes
– Timofey Mozgov is starting for the Cavaliers in his first game tonight, so keep an eye on that new offense.
– J.J. Hickson has crushed value in the last two games, totaling just under 67 fantasy points in two games.
– Lavoy Allen is a good play even when Roy Hibbert plays, but if he is out be sure to put Allen into your lineups.
– Kevin Garnett’s price is too low, and he plays the Sixers. It seems like a trap, but it is not since he has an excellent matchup.
– If Mbah a Moute starts, he is a must play at the minimum. He is averaging over seven times his current salary per game.
– If Mo Williams is unable to go, LaVine becomes a near must-play at his salary as well.
– Elfrid Payton is the lucky point guard against the Lakers tonight.
– Jarrett Jack will get all the minutes he can handle with Deron Williams likely out.
Usage Rates
– Gordon Hayward’s usage rate remains well over 30 percent.
– Kyrie Irving’s rate is at 33 percent without LeBron James on the floor.
– When Mo Williams is off the floor, Zach LaVine’s usage rate is 18.8, but he has played the most minutes by far of any Timberwolves player.
– Shabazz leads the Timberwolves in usage rate as the situation holds currently (if Williams is out).
