Apparently, DeSean Jackson isn’t the only player the Philadelphia Eagles are shopping this spring.
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, the Eagles have made it known that Pro Bowl guard Evan Mathis is available for trade. Mathis, a first-team All Pro selection in 2013 at right guard, supposedly wants a raise on his $5 million salary this coming season. The 33-year-old guard apparently felt snubbed when fellow offensive linemen Jason Peters and Jason Kelce received contract extensions earlier in the offseason.
The Eagles are seeking a third-round pick in exchange for Mathis, according to CBS Sports, and could possibly settle for a fourth-rounder.

The Mike Wallace experiment with the Miami Dolphins has apparently reached a head.
According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, the Dolphins have renewed their attempts to trade the wide receiver during the NFL owner’s meetings. Per La Canfora, some teams are doing their homework on Wallace, but the $15 million base salary he’s due in 2014 makes it all the more complicated.

That report, however, was disputed by Miami Herald columnist Armando Salguero, who states the team has not spoken to a single team about Wallace before or during the owner’s meetings.

In regards to other previously rumored trades, Philadelphia coach Chip Kelly did not deny the team is looking to deal Jackson at the owner’s meetings Wednesday, only admitting to Comcast Sports Net in Philadelphia “we are going to do what’s best for the team.”

Jackson has been the subject of multiple trade rumors and is considered a candidate for release if no partner is found. The New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, Carolina Panthers, and New England Patriots are all considered potential landing spots for Jackson, but the Jets have the most cap space to acquire the wideout via trade.
Kirk Cousins, the subject of multiple trade talks since the Mike Shanahan Era in the nation’s capital, is not drawing very much interest on the trade front. First-year Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden said he hasn’t heard from any teams in regards to a trade for Cousins. The Skins reportedly sought a second-round pick for Robert Griffin III’s backup.
