Last week, we discussed how killer Browns cornerback Joe Haden has been against receivers and warned against starting Antonio Brown. Haden had held A.J. Green, Torrey Smith, Calvin Johnson, Mike Wallace, Torrey Smith again, and A.J. Green again to fewer than 8.5 fantasy points. Jordy Nelson had put forth the most successful effort against Haden, putting up 42 yards and a touchdown.

Of course, all of that didn’t matter as Antonio Brown caught six of his 10 targets for 92 yards and a touchdown. Brown now has more receiving yards than anyone outside of Megatron and should, henceforth, only be referred to as a stud.

This week, it’s Cecil Shorts who faces Haden and has not achieved “stud level” so he makes for a very dangerous start. T.Y. Hilton faces a tough Titans defense that held him to five catches for 44 yards two weeks ago so I’d stay away from him as well.

Vincent Jackson has seen sparse use of late and faces a very tough Panthers defense so I’d stay away from him as well as Santonio Holmes, Marques Colston, and Torrey Smith. The Pats receivers are all iffy and DeSean Jackson and Riley Cooper could be limited as well. I would still roll with Keenan Allen and anyone on the Broncos, though.

On the favorable side, Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, Jordy Nelson, Harry Douglas, A.J. Green, Victor Cruz, Dez Bryant, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery, Rod Streater, Antonio Brown, and Josh Gordon are all must-starts. Jarrett Boykin, Roddy White, Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Nate Burleson, and Dwayne Bowe all have positive matchups as well.

Let’s take a look at how all of the receiver matchups are shaping up for Week 13.
