Just as more than a few of your league teams have painfully discovered this week, the right kind of injury is a league-changer. And more of those devastating injuries seem to be happening league-wide. Of course, those fantasy basketball teams with Derrick Rose, Marc Gasol, or Andre Iguodala in their midst already know that.

To supplement your stats as a result there’s always the handy XN Sports waiver wire guide. Or you can keep abreast of the many tune-ups players are going through below.

Derrick Rose (right knee) – It’s a sad fate for the 2010-13 Bulls team. A sad fate for the overall graph chart of Rose’s career. And an extremely sad fate for whoever drafted him as a third, second, or even first round pick. He’s out for the season.

Spencer Hawes (knee) – One of the best fantasy surprises of the year can really produce across the statsheet (including three-pointers made) which is really impressive considering he’s a center. But, for now, his production is relegated to the bench. He is day-to-day and might not play Wednesday.

Eric Bledsoe (shin) – The mini LeBron missed a bout with regular LeBron yesterday. A shin problem has forced him to miss five games now. Keep an eye on his condition.

Rudy Gay (illness) – Though nursing flu-like symptoms – and also utterly sick of stat sheets, apparently – the notoriously inefficient forward is feeling better and should play tonight.

The Brooklyn Nets Team (it’s like an episode of House in Brooklyn right now)Andrei Kirilenko, Jason Terry, Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, Shaun Livingston…at this point, if Jason Kidd isn’t careful even he’ll be on the inactive list. All five players are questionable for tonight’s tryst with Toronto.

Trevor Ariza (hamstring) – He was questionable against the Lakers. Could be a strong pickup now if available in the waiver wire.

Jarrett Jack (neck) – The backup veteran had improved his play as of late before a somewhat serious neck injury put a hamper on him in the Cavs’ meeting with the Spurs. He’s questionable for Wednesday.

Tony Wroten (back) – Philadelphia has its fair share of fantasy basketball goods and Wroten is one of them. He doesn’t produce on the level of MCW, Spencer Hawes, or Evan Turner, but he contributes with a nice sum of points, rebounds, assists, and steals.

Kelly Olynyk (ankle) – As a big man who’s shooting 38.9 percent from the floor and whose minutes shift sporadically, Olynyk isn’t a prime fantasy asset. Still, he can go off in games and provides some points and solid rebounds in very deep leagues. He’ll be MIA for two weeks with a sprain.
