daily fantasy baseball picks

Felipe and Sean are back and continuing their winning ways in the Baseball Life fantasy league as the latter owner is optimistic that his struggling players are finally showing signs of turning things around while the former still believes that his team has not played to their full potential yet.

Topics of discussion include, but not limited to:

–Kris Bryant looking like he’s back to his MVP-self again.
–Mallex Smith: can’t steal bases for the Seattle Mariners if he’s doing it from Tacoma, Washington.
–Billy Hamilton can’t steal bases if he can’t get on base and is still trying to get over a leg injury.
–Brian Goodwin, if only he could steal bases
–Finally giving up on Steven Matz
–Trust in Luke Weaver

The guys also shared their strategy when it comes to relief pitching as both owners not only have to account for saves, but also holds and various ratio stats as well.

When the guys transitioned to talking about phenom Chris Paddack, the conversation then proceeded into the wonderful world of the San Diego Padres’ roster.

After talking about the Padres, the guys try to figure out how and why Kansas City Royals’ pitcher Brad Keller is surviving baseball, which then had the guys wondering if there’s any pitcher worth watching on the Royals’ pitching staff.

Colorado Rockies’ talk as the guys figure out which pitcher to start a franchise with, German Marquez or Jon Gray.

New York Mets’ infielder Jeff McNeil leads the league in singles and the guys shed some spotlight on the player. Sean, a Mets’ fan, then tries to figure out what the best possible starting lineup would look like if the Royals and Mets were to combine rosters.

The episode was recorded on May 7, 2019.
