Fantasy Baseball 2019: All-April Team

Felipe and Sean return for another episode as both of their teams were triumphant in victory last week.

The guys announce their All-April All Star team, including the historic start of Cody Bellinger and the continued dominance of Mike Trout. The guys were also amazed how many players from the Kansas City Royals were on the list.

Christian Yelich is picking up where he left off last year when he was awarded the National League MVP award in 2018. Adalberto Mondesi is proving that he’s not just a one-trick pony as he continues to not just be a reliable source for stolen bases, but also for power.

The guys then continued their ongoing discussion about the importance of hitters’ plate approach and whether it’s still important to posses a patient approach or not.

The focus then turns toward the pitchers as both Justin Verlander and Zack Greinke continue to pitch well as they get older.

Felipe goes on a rant against the Pittsburgh Pirates, criticizing them for continuing to mismanage their club. Meanwhile, in the same division, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Luis Castillo is having a breakout season and the whole world needs to know about it.

The guys then transition from starters to relief pitchers, mainly closers, as they discuss the best of the best in this role.

Sean, a Mets’ fan, reminds Felipe that it’s never a good idea to bench both Noah Syndergaard and Jacob deGrom as both starting pitchers had bounce-back starts this week.

The show ends with analysis of a recent trade Sean had performed to acquire an elite-level starting pitcher.
