GPP thoughts for 12/3 DraftKings Slate:

Tonight’s slate on DraftKings is one I find very attractive. It is the perfect size at eight games and a couple of the teams are in real nice spots. I will be putting in multiple lineups of various stacks and hoping for the best.

Top Stacks for 12/3 DraftKings Slates:

Minnesota – They are the largest favorite on the slate and with good reason. Minnesota ranks 8th in the goals per game and with Toronto giving up 2.72 goals against per game Minnesota is in a real good spot. It gets better — Toronto is also on the backside of a back to back with Garret Sparks giving up 6 goals to Winnipeg last night so whether its Sparks or Reimer returning from injury in goal I want exposure to Minnesota. The second line for the Wild of Zucker, Koivu, and Niederreiter have produced 13 goals this season which ranks 7th in the league and they are in play here. The first and third lines have each produced 2 goals in the last 3 games the first line is stackable and Vanek from the third line is playable as he see power play time.

Washington – The Capitals are on the road against Montreal and are very playable. While Montreal is only giving up 2.15 goals per game they are dealing with the injury bug sweeping though the team with both Price and Gallagher out. With Gallagher out the Pacioretty and Plekanec combo is being split up and while Price’s replacement Condon has a .903 save % at home he has a .878 save % in losses this season. With all the turmoil in Montreal both of Washington’s top two lines are in play to stack.

Nashville – The Predators have struggled as of late going 2-5 in their last 7 games however they did post 5 goals and got the win in their last game against Arizona. While they only produced 4 goals in their last five losses they have been producing shots with a total of 157. I look for Nashville to continue putting the puck in the net against Florida who is in the middle of a 5 game road trip. It looks like Forsberg and Neal will be playing on the same line with Ribeiro and i want exposure to this line and i will mostly avoid Nashville’s 2nd line.

Vancouver – While Dallas scores a lot of goals they also give up goals, ranking around mid-pack with 2.6 goals against per game. Vancouver has struggled as of late going 3-11 in their last 14 but they only been shut out once in those 11 losses. I will be targeting the Sedin line here. In their last game against Dallas on the road on 11/27 that line produced 14.5 Drafting points and i look for bigger results tonight at home.

Also look to New Jersey, Carolina, & Arizona if you are OK with accepting more risk.

Cheap defenseman to use to fill out your stacks.

Hanifin ($3,100) for Carolina – Sees power play time and will receive a bigger bump if Kindkaid is confirmed in goal for New Jersey.
Severson ($3,100) for New Jersey – Sees power play time and faces Lack who has a dismal .874 save %.

Wideman ($2,600) for Ottawa – Sees power play time and will fire off some shots.
Dumba ($3,300) for Minnesota – Sees power play time and is in an optimal matchup vs Toronto.

Ekholm for Nashville ($3,000) – Good way to get exposure to Nashville.
