week 2 NFL schedule

QB

Tom Brady

Brady is the clear cut QB to use in cash games every week and this week is no different. The Patriots will be facing the Washington Redskins at home. Brady leads the league in passing touchdowns this season with 20 and has a quarterback rating of 115.8. Brady is the safest QB to use this week and should throw for 3 touchdowns this Sunday.

Eli Manning

Manning had a career game last week against the Saints, so why not roll with the hot hand at the QB position this week? Eli threw for a career high 6 TDs and threw for a total of 350 yards in 41 attempts. Eli draws another favorable match up against the Buccaneers, as they have given up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

Other guys to target:

Jameis Winston vs NYG, Matt Ryan @ SF, Philip River vs CHI

RB

Devonta Freeman

Freeman has been one of the best running backs this season and draws a very favorable match up against the 49ers. His ability to run the ball as well as catching it out of the backfield makes him such a great pick up. The 49ers have given up the 7th most fantasy points to opposing running backs. Pay up for Freeman!

Chris Ivory

Ivory had an awful week last week against the Raiders running for only 17 yards in 15 attempts, but I see Mr. Ivory turning things around this week against the Jaguars. Ivory ranks 3rd in the league with 19.2 rushing attempts per game, so he will have plenty of opportunities and should make the most of them this week. The Jags have not been able to stop running backs this season, as they have given up the 9th most fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Other guys to target:

Legarrette Blount vs WAS , Doug Martin vs NYG, Ronnie Hillman @ IND

WR

Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper has just been excellent for Oakland so far this season and is a nice pick up for this week. Cooper leads the league in big plays over 40 yards this season with four of them. With the Raiders most likely going to fall behind to Pittsburg, I can see Cooper getting a lot of targets and opportunities to see the end zone.

Jarvis Landry

Landry is one of the most consistent wide receivers and always has that ability to explode and have a big game. Landry will be facing the Bills this week who have given up a total of 10 receiving touchdowns to opposing wide receivers and have given up the 9th most fantasy points to opposing wide outs.

Other guys to target:

Odell Beckham Jr @ TAM, Robert Woods vs MIA, Dez Bryant vs PHI

TE

Heath Miller

Miller had a great week last week with 10 receptions and 105 yards. With Big Ben back, I expect Miller to be more involved in the offense, especially this week against the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders are the worst team in the league when it comes to defending opposing TE’s and have given up an average of 1 TD per game to opposing tight ends. Miller is my sleeper of the week!

Greg Olsen

Olsen will be going up against the Green Bay Packers this week which draws a pretty matchup for Olsen. The Packers have given up the 6th  most receiving yards to tight ends this season. They have also given up the 10th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Olsen ranks 5th among TE in receiving yards and averages 16.3 yards per reception.

Other guys to target:

Jordan Reed @ NE, Delanie Walker @ NO, Antonio Gates @ CHC (If Healthy)
