Daily Fantasy MMA Lineup Advice for August 1st

Daily fantasy MMA

On August 1st, the UFC will once again be hosting an event in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. UFC 190 will be headlining one of the biggest stars in the sport. Ronda Rousey is set to take on Bethe Correira, an undefeated Brazilian. This fight is fueled by bad blood, and this Saturday the trash talk will cease and a champion will emerge. If you enjoy watching MMA and would like a chance at winning some cash, head over to DraftKings to create your own daily fantasy MMA lineup. Here are some of the details:

– $100,000 prize pool

– $10,000 first place prize

$3 to enter or free with first deposit

– Top 7,850 finishing positions are paid out

– Starts Saturday, August 1st at 7:00pm EST

– Draft 5 fighters and stay under the $50,000 salary cap

Fighters to avoid

Correia, Silva, Aguilar, Taleb

In the main event of the evening, Correia is simply going to be outmatched and outclassed. She offers next to nothing, in terms of threat, for Ronda Rousey. She lacks the power, speed, and grappling skills to take the title away from Rousey.

Bigfoot Silva is a giant Brazilian that does possess punching power, however, since Silva stopped using PED’s and TRT, he is noticeably slower and much less athletic. He could still pull off the upset, given that all the heavyweights have power, but with Silva lacking his previous athleticism, I doubt he’ll be able to emerge victorious.

Aguilar is fighting arguably the biggest threat in the women’s straweight division. Even if Aguilar does win, most likely the contest will go to a decision and she won’t rack up the points needed for you to win.

Taleb is a good talent, but definitely lacks the finishing skills needed to be in your lineup. I do not believe he’ll win his fight, and even if he does, he will not get you the points needed to win.

Fighters with good values

M. Nogueira, Cavalcante, Hester

Nogueira is certainly the underdog in his fight, however, he’s also fighting a guy who has his own chin problems. His opponent, Struve, has been KO’d far too many times by different fighters. Struve is expected to win, but if his chin does not hold up, Nogueira could possibly get the upset.

Cavalcante has had trouble with wrestlers in the past, which is why he is very cheap on DraftKings for this fight. However, his opponent, Cummins, has a questionable chin and Cavalcante has good punching power. Look for him to pull off the upset.

Hester is just slightly priced above average, but given his chances of knocking out his opponent, he is an absolute steal for this contest.

Well, there you have it. That is my lineup advice for UFC 190. I hope this helps your lineups and I hope you enjoy the fights.
