Jones is one of the draft’s most electrifying athletes, and he happens to play at a position that almost every NFL team would want to upgrade.
Jones turned heads at the NFL Scouting Combine when he posted a 12-foot broad jump and a 44.5-inch vertical, which was more than nine inches better than the five-year average for corners.
Given the rash of teams picking from picks No. 20-32 in need of secondary help, Jones could be the third or fourth corner picked behind Trae Waynes, Marcus Peters and Jalen Collins. Teams like the Patriots and Cowboys may especially be doing their homework on him.
