4. Francisco Lindor – SS – Cleveland Indians
A member of the Cleveland Indians’ organization since age 17, Francisco Lindor has progressed to the point where he now controls his own destiny. The prototypical shortstop is a defensive wizard who lacks power at the plate, but he should produce nonetheless.
A likely spark plug for the Indians’ lineup, Lindor has the perfect makeup for a Terry Francona team. He is currently battling for a position on the Major League roster, but his bat will likely cause a delay for the foreseeable future. Once he gets called up – September, at the latest – he isn’t going back down.
