3. La’El Collins, LSU
Collins played his as a true freshman at LSU in 2011, and once he earned the starting left tackle job as a sophomore in 2012 the rest was history.
Collins may be best suited as an NFL right tackle, though like Scherff could be viewed by interested teams as a guard. Fortunately, he boasts experience at both line positions.
Collins is a massive human being with solid speed for his size. He a strong drive-blocker that usually reaches the second level, and did so in a rigid SEC against NFL-caliber defensive linemen. Teams will love the ferocity he plays with.
