Top 5 Offensive Tackles In The 2015 NFL Draft

Brandon Schreff

1. Brandon Scherff, Iowa

Much like Zack Martin of the 2015 class, Scherff presents himself as a quick-fix at either tackle or guard for teams in need of offensive line help. Scherff is the top-rated tackle and offensive lineman overall.

Scherff is an athlete playing tackle. He played quarterback and tight end in high school before switching positions at Iowa. Scherff is a nasty competitor who blocks through the whistle and plays with an edge. He makes a living with his first-step quickness and his initial hit.

Scherff’s versatility will be intriguing for teams, primarily for one like the Giants that could use help at multiple positions. If he winds up on the edge, he’ll need to make strides as a pass-blocker.
