5. Garrett Grayson, Colorado State
Grayson is one of the more intriguing NFL quarterback prospects in this year’s crop and could very well be considered the No. 3 player behind Winston and Mariota, depending on your preference in skill-set.
Like Mariota, Grayson is an athlete playing under center. He is very accurate, above average arm strength, but needs to tweak his delivery a bit. There are also concerns about his ability to throw with anticipation.
Other concerns include his size (6-foot-2, 220 pounds) and that fact that Grayson’s statistics have come while competing in the Mountain West Conference. Over the past two years as a starter, he’s registered 55 touchdowns and 17 interceptions, including only six in 2014.
