Fans Wants James Dolan to Sell The Knicks, Buy The Nets

James Dolan

After Knicks owner James Dolan’s spiteful email to a fan went viral, New Yorkers tired of watching their beloved team stifled by horrific management relented.

Now, the duo behind the “Fire Idzik” campaign that may have contributed to the Jets’ general manager’s ouster have launched “Knicks for Sale,” urging the inept exec to sell the team, and possibly buy the Brooklyn Nets instead.

The page starts with an excerpt from Dolan’s email to a fan who called on him to sell the team, to which he replied:

“…What have you done that anyone would consider positive or nice. I am betting nothing. In fact ill bet you are negative force in
everyone who comes in contact with you. You most likely have made your family miserable. Alcoholic maybe. I just celebrated
my 21 year anniversary of sobriety. You should try it. Maybe it will help you become a person that folks would like to have around.
In the mean while start rooting for the Nets because the Knicks dont want you.”

The page goes on to list all of the damage Dolan’s leadership has done to a once-storied franchise:

Awful Personnel

From bonehead free agent signings like Jerome James – to trades for players like Stephon Marbury & Eddy Curry, this organization has not been able to get out of its own way in 15 years.

Incompetent Management

Bringing in guys like Scott Layden & Isiah Thomas – and forcing out our only good general manager (Donnie Walsh), the Knicks have been a revolving door in their front office. The only constant – James Dolan.

Terrible Coaching

The Knicks have had a total of 9 head coaches in the 14 seasons since Jeff Van Gundy left (2001-2015). They have a combined record of 444-629 and are 7-18 in the playoffs.
