2. Chan Gailey to the Jets
Gailey has been out of the NFL since 2012, his final year as head coach of the Bills. In that season, he helped C.J. Spiller post career-best numbers and made Ryan Fitzpatrick a pretty solid quarterback in his system.
As a defensive-minded head coach, Todd Bowles likely will give Gailey some freedom to install his system and his philosophies on that side of the ball. That gets pretty interesting when you factor in playmakers like Eric Decker, Percy Harvin, Jeremy Kerley and Jace Amaro in the passing game.
Obviously the biggest question mark is who’s going to play quarterback. We might not to know until late in the spring, but in Gailey’s spread attack we could see the Jets finally make strides on that side of the ball.
