The Oakland Raiders have officially decided upon their next head coach.
Jack Del Rio will remain in the AFC West after four years in Denver and become the new head coach of the Raiders. Del Rio, who served as defensive coordinator for the Broncos the past three years under John Fox, now shifts over to the Black and Silver.
Del Rio is the Raiders’ sixth head coach in the last eight years. However, unlike the four prior to Tony Sparano taking over on an interim basis this season, Del Rio boasts actual NFL head coaching experience.
