There were three teams who played last night that are also playing tonight: Boston, the New York Rangers, and Washington. I don’t have a ton of interest in the Rangers game, though stacking against Washington might not be a bad idea. They’re either starting Braden Holtby on both games of a back to back, or going with Justin Peters. Either way, it’s a good spot for Philadelphia.
The biggest favorites on the board, as usually is the case, is the team facing Buffalo with Carolina at (-200) via Covers Experts. Nashville and Boston are also big favorites, but picking a team facing Dallas and a team coming off a big overtime victory last night aren’t exactly great spots.

Players will be in order of perceived value, by position, and there should be enough to mix-and-match for each type of game available on DraftKings. Some positions might only have a few plays, some might have several. It all depends on the day, the matchups, and the price.
Remember: players are in order of value, not necessarily in cost. Just because Sidney Crosby is $8000 one day doesn’t mean he’s a better value than Andrew Shaw at $4000.

- Either Jeff Skinner or Jakub Voracek (maybe both) should be staples of cash games tonight. Voracek’s price is absurd, and Skinner is in a great spot with a cheap salary.
- I don’t have a problem paying up for Giroux tonight. He’s in a good spot, there are cheap options in net, and very good values elsewhere.
- I want one of the two Carolina defensemen in cash game lineups. For those that don’t want to pay for Faulk, it won’t take much for Sekera to reach value.

- It just worked out that the stacks I’m looking at tonight are center-heavy. I guess it makes picking wingers easier.
- Colorado has spread out their lines, which is terrible for DFS. I’ll take a cheap duo in MacKinnon/Mitchell and let the chips fall where they may.
- Philly’s top line is relatively cheap again, and are in a good spot tonight at home to Washington.
- It appears that San Jose may be without Joe Thornton again tonight. If that’s indeed the case, I do like the Blues at home a lot. I would look to the Lehtera/Tarasenko/Schwartz line if Thornton is out.
Slim’s Pickins (bargain plays)
Mark Arcobello (NSH-C, $2800) – Arcobello has joined Nashville’s second line with Colin Wilson.
Dmitrij Jaskin (STL-W, $2900) – Can easily reach value in a good matchup at home alongside Paul Stastny.
David Rundblad (CHI-D, $2700) – In Rundblad’s first 13 games of the season, he never cracked 15 minutes of ice time. He’s done so in four of his last eight games.
Good luck!
