The only team that played last night that is also playing tonight is the Toronto Maple Leafs. This is noteworthy because Jonathan Bernier was not well enough to play yesterday, though he re-joined the team today. Either the Leafs go into Tampa Bay using the same goalie two nights in a row, or a goalie that wasn’t well enough to play 24 hours ago. Either way, it’s a good spot for Tampa Bay. That is part of the reason they’re among the big favorites tonight, along with the Ottawa Senators.
Play the $8000 Sniper guaranteed on DraftKings tonight for just $2!
As always, check Left Wing Lock for goalie confirmations.
Players will be in order of perceived value, by position, and there should be enough to mix-and-match for each type of game available on Draft Kings. Some positions might only have a few plays, some might have several. It all depends on the day, the matchups, and the price.
Remember: players are in order of value, not necessarily in cost. Just because Sidney Crosby is $8000 one day doesn’t mean he’s a better value than Andrew Shaw at $4000.

- Kunitz’s price has dropped a lot, most of it justified. With that said, Pittsburgh stacked their top line with Malkin-Crosby-Kunitz, so making Kunitz a staple of cash games is a good idea.
- Both Jori Lehtera and Mika Zibanejad have very good matchups tonight, so pairing one of them with a Giroux or a Stamkos is a good way to try to get full value out of the center position.
- Good goalies are relatively cheap tonight, and that allows a bit more money to be spent on defensemen.

- Pittsburgh stacked their top line, and Malkin-Crosby are elite (well, even more elite) when playing together.
- Ottawa’s second line should have a good matchup tonight, and they have a very soft price point.
- Carolina is welcoming back Jordan Staal tonight, and with a reasonable top six, maybe they can sneak out a win against Montreal.
Slim’s Pickins (bargain plays)
Markus Granlund (CGY-C, $2800) – Granlund has been moved around of late, but has been skating at times with Hudler-Gaudreau (though that time has been split of late with Joe Colborne).
Tanner Pearson (LAK-W, $2800) – Pearson has been skating on what is essentially Los Angeles’ second line, and should get soft in-game matchups.
Derrick Pouliot (PIT-D, $2500) – With all the injuries in Pittsburgh, Pouliot has been pushed to the top power play unit.
Good luck!
