Carson Palmer is out for the season after tearing his ACL.
Drew Stanton has proven unable to get first downs and scores and is now nursing a sprained knee.
With Ryan Lindley owning a career 0:7 touchdown-interception ratio and Logan Thomas having completed one of eight passes through his rookie season, the quarterback situation in Arizona is increasingly dire.
But Darnell Dockett thinks he knows just the man for the job.
After former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner jokingly offered to put on a Cards jersey after seeing Stanton carted off the field, Dockett took notice.
I am out in the trailer, u think they have an extra jersey in the locker room? Man I feel terrible 4 the Cards & all the injuries!

While it’s obviously unlikely, it’s not completely out of the realm of possibility. Warner is 43, the same age as Vinny Testaverde was when he played for the Panthers in 2007.
In five seasons on the Cardinals, Warner completed 65 percent of his passes for 100 touchdowns, 59 interceptions, and a 91.9 passer rating.
In 2008, Warner guided the Cards to the Super Bowl where he completed 31 of 43 pass attempts for three scores and an interception but came up just a hair short as the Steelers edged them out in a 27-23 win.
