Romo finds Bryant as Cowboys get past Giants late
The Giants had been a pushover the past few weeks, but the G-Men brought their A game against a Cowboys team looking to remain the NFC East race.
Odell Beckham Jr. and the Giants built an 11-point halftime lead over the Cowboys, but Tony Romo and Co. scored 14 unanswered in the third frame to make it a game into the final quarter. Then, Romo was clutch.
Romo engineered a seven-play, 80-yard touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter to seal Dallas’ 31-28 victory over New York. Romo found Dez Bryant on a 13-yard touchdown — his second of the night — with 61 seconds remaining to give the Cowboys the all-important victory. Dallas remains in a first-place tie with Philadelphia in the division and very much alive in the NFC Wild Card hunt.
