Daily Fantasy Football: DraftKings Value Plays and Lineup – Week 11

Jordan Matthews

Week 11 begins tonight with an AFC East matchup between the Bills and the Dolphins. Fred Jackson is likely out, but the Dolphins defense has been great lately. Lamar Miller is banged up, but the Bills defense has been just as good as Miami’s. Fading the Thursday Night game may be in order, but play the Thursday slate just to capitalize on those who play tonight’s game.

Value Plays

Quarterback

Mark Sanchez $5,800

  • Sanchez is one of the cheapest options at quarterback on DraftKings this weekend.
  • Despite the cold, the Packers present a good matchup for the Eagles passing game.
  • Green Bay has allowed a passing touchdown in all but two games this season.
  • Sanchez has four passing touchdowns in seven quarters, and the Eagles passing game has flourished (in terms of fantasy points) regardless who is at quarterback.
  • The only starting quarterbacks who have more fantasy points per drop back are Andrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, and Russell Wilson, per Pro Football Focus.

Running Back

Frank Gore $4,500

  • Gore has been an afterthought in fantasy football prior this this past week, with 39 carries for under 110 yards in three games against the Rams (twice) and the Broncos.
  • Against the Saints last week, Gore ran for 81 and a touchdown.
  • His price is still low enough for a value, and against the Giants, he is a suggested play.
  • The Giants have given up the second-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
  • Opposing running backs have scored 11 total touchdowns against the Giants this season, and have totaled for just under 1700 total yards.

Wide Receiver

Jordan Matthews $4,500

  • With Mark Sanchez at quarterback, Matthews is the clear number one target.
  • In just seven quarters, Matthews has caught nine passes for 173 yards and three touchdowns from Sanchez.
  • The Packers have given up 109 fantasy points to wide receivers in the last four weeks.
  • At just $4,500, this selection gives you cap room to add some stars to your lineup.
  • The Packers and Eagles over/under is set at 55 points, which is eight touchdowns. This gives you cheap exposure to that matchup.

Tight End

Dwayne Allen $4,200

  • Has scored a touchdown in all but one start this season.
  • Faces the Patriots who have given up the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends.
  • Over 25 percent of his catches are touchdowns this season.
  • The Patriots have given up a touchdown to a tight end in three straight games, and have given up six catches or more to tight ends five times.
  • At $4,200, he is worth a FLEX play if you punt the position.
