The only team that played last night is the New York Islanders, and they feature a very poor penalty kill. Construct rosters accordingly.
Boston is the big favorite in Vegas, along with Los Angeles and Tampa Bay. Those looking for their goalies should probably get one from one of those teams. I do like Jake Allen’s spot tonight, but his price is out of control.
There are a ton of good values today on defense (there are everywhere, but more so on the point). This is definitely not a night where it’s necessary to pay up for a defenseman. I wouldn’t be spending more than $7K on both blue liners combined tonight.

As always, check Left Wing Lock for goalie confirmations.
Players will be in order of perceived value, by position, and there should be enough to mix-and-match for each type of game available on Draft Kings. Some positions might only have a few plays, some might have several. It all depends on the day, the matchups, and the price.
Remember: players are in order of value, not necessarily in cost. Just because Sidney Crosby is $8000 one day doesn’t mean he’s a better value than Andrew Shaw at $4000.

- Lehtera’s price still hasn’t budged, and though it’s not an ideal matchup tonight, it’s hard to pass up.
- Boston should have a good night against the Oilers, and Soderberg is getting good even strength and power play minutes.
- The second line in Los Angeles is exceedingly cheap, and they, too, get a good matchup (at least for their power play).
- Colorado has a new-found first line of Landeskog/Duchene/MacKinnon. That trio should be a disaster for Toronto defense, making at least one of them a must-play.
- Despite what was intended from the Leafs, the top line of Kessel/Bozak/JVR was reunited last game for most of the game. Expect the same tonight.

- I don’t mind the Canucks tonight as a contrarian play, but it’s not a must-play by any stretch.
- I’ll be hard-pressed to leave one of the Colorado stack and Los Angeles stack off my GPPs. The Colorado stack is high-octane while the Los Angeles stack is very cost-efficient.
- Pittsburgh might not be a highly-owned team tonight so it may be a good night to use them, but the prices are so prohibitive that it’s tough to recommend them.
- There are nice goaltending matchups with very, very good prices. It’s not really necessary to spend in goal tonight for a GPP.
Slim’s Pickins (bargain plays)
Chris VandeVelde (PHI-C, $2500) – There’s a new line mate for Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek now that Michael Raffl is out with an injury.
Tanner Pearson (LAK-W, $2800) – I mean, come on.
Nick Holden (COL-D, $2500) – Continues to get top power play minutes and is less than half the cost of power play blue line-mate Erik Johnson.
Good luck!
