Today is just a 3-game slate, with Detroit and Montreal having played last night. The former is playing their second night in a row on the road. Montreal and Anaheim are the big favorites tonight as far as Vegas is concerned.
The GPP analysis today is very basic. It’s going with the big favorites and hoping for the best. In reality, I almost never play short-slate GPPs because the ability to differentiate in lineups is minimal. I’d rather focus on cash games.

As always, check Left Wing Lock for goalie confirmations.
Players will be in order of perceived value, by position, and there should be enough to mix-and-match for each type of game available on Draft Kings. Some positions might only have a few plays, some might have several. It all depends on the day, the matchups, and the price.
Remember: players are in order of value, not necessarily in cost. Just because Sidney Crosby is $8000 one day doesn’t mean he’s a better value than Andrew Shaw at $4000.

- There isn’t a ton of great options tonight. Montreal is very obvious, and Anaheim will be another team a lot of people will be on.
- The goaltending is tough to parse out for tonight. I think Tokarski has the better chance for the win, but it seems much more likely LaBarbera will face 25-30 shots, whereas Tokarski might face 20 at the most.
- There are enough values at both centre and wing tonight that playing P.K. Subban is fairly painless.

- I will say I’m playing exactly zero GPPs today. Short slates are not ideal for playing tournaments, there just isn’t enough to pick from. Others will disagree, and that’s their prerogative.
- I’d go with the vanilla plays and hope they work out. But again, I do not recommend GPPs on short slates.
Slim’s Pickins (bargain plays)
Chris Mueller (NYR-C, $2700) – Centering the second power play unit for the Rangers.
Dale Weise (MTL-W, $2600) – Appears to still be playing on the top line with Desharnais and Pacioretty, though pre-game warmups will tell the tale.
Danny DeKeyser (DET-D, $2700) – Probably Detroit’s best offensive defenseman outside of Niklas Kronwall.
Good luck!
