Columbus, Toronto, and Dallas are all playing their second game in as many nights. Columbus is decimated by injuries and likely starting a backup goalie, Toronto isn’t a very good hockey team, and Dallas is playing the same goalie for the second night in a row (almost always a bad idea). Roster players from these games accordingly.
Pittsburgh is an overwhelming favorite tonight at home to Buffalo, so expect their highly-skilled players to be widely owned in all formats. The next-highest favorite is New Jersey, and they have a very good matchup tonight. I would look to be taking the goalie from either of these two games.

As always, check Left Wing Lock for goalie confirmations.
Players will be in order of perceived value, by position, and there should be enough to mix-and-match for each type of game available on Draft Kings. Some positions might only have a few plays, some might have several. It all depends on the day, the matchups, and the price.
Remember: players are in order of value, not necessarily in cost. Just because Sidney Crosby is $8000 one day doesn’t mean he’s a better value than Andrew Shaw at $4000.

- Malkin’s price is too good to pass up tonight. Even if he’s 50-percent owned, it’s worth it.
- I don’t particularly love the Tampa Bay/Washington matchup, but Alex Killorn’s price is too good to pass on.
- Jeff Skinner has been reunited with Eric Staal. I think this is a good spot for that top line.
- There are enough good values at wing to justify spending on at least one defenseman tonight.

- Pittsburgh and Chicago are the easy plays tonight, expect a lot of people to be on them.
- I think the Islanders and Sharks have a high-paced game with a lot of shots. Could be a lot of goals in this one.
- I like Minnesota’s matchup a lot, they just haven’t had the results on the power play so far this year for me to justify them being ranked higher.
- Florida and Philadelphia are both awful on the penalty kill. There should be at least two power play goals in this game.
Slim’s Pickins (bargain plays)
Jori Lehtera (STL-C, $2900) – He continues to be a great value.
Matt Nieto (SJS-W, $2900) – Should get easier matchups against the Islanders and gets second power play unit against a bad penalty kill.
Jonas Brodin (MIN-D, $2600) – It looks like the Wild’s young star defenseman will be back in the lineup tonight. He should get good line mates and secondary power play time.
Good luck!
