The Panthers are giving us a reason to believe they can repeat as NFC South champions, so long that Cam Newton wants to be a do-it-all star behind center.
What to know: According to ESPN Stats and Info, “Cam Newton was 7-of-18 for 119 yards and an interception on throws deeper than 10 yards downfield.” He’s completed only one pass of that distance in his last seven attempts, including a fourth-quarter pick which set up a Cincinnati field goal.
