Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson are the marquee pass-rushers in Carolina, but the second-round pick, reserve defensive lineman Short finished with a +3.4 pass-rush grade by Pro Football Focus. By the end of the 2013 season, Short earned a +16.5 grade, 16th-best by defensive tackles.
