There is cause for concern in San Francisco. Aldon Smith could be suspended for upwards of eight games. Best-case scenario is that NaVorro Bowman returns at midseason. And the secondary is starting three new players. However, the unit still has Patrick Willis and Eric Reid, and under Jim Harbaugh will find a way to be competitive. It’ll be instantly upgraded upon the return of Smith and Bowman.
