From the teams that’ll be tough to score points against week in and week out, to the ones that’ll allow opposing quarterbacks to post career-highs, here are the defense rankings for the AFC.
9. Houston Texans
Despite the addition of Jadeveon Clowney, it’s hard to envision the Houston defense remaining the No. 2 unit in the AFC. Linebacker Brian Cushing has had trouble remaining on the field for the past two years, and this secondary has failed to live up to expectations. While the Texans should have no trouble getting after the quarterback, its run defense and pass defense are suspect.
