Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 19

Boston Red Sox (Peavy) at Oakland Athletics (Kazmir)

I’m not starting Peavy. Also, I’m not overly high on the Red Sox bats tonight as a whole but I do like a couple of them in particular. Some of their guys have hit lefties very well this year but most of those guys aren’t hitting well of late. Kazmir worries me enough to not stack the Red Sox tonight but that might make them a good contrarian play in a large tournament.

Xander Bogarets (SS) – $5406

Dustin Pedroia (2B) – $6349

Jonny Gomes (OF) – $4259

Scott Kazmir is up there with Jordan Zimmermann for top options today. Taking both of them is not a bad idea but my strategy tonight has me just taking one of them. Flip a coin, but I’ll avoid Kazmir tonight. Derek Norris is a must-start because of his price tonight if he’s in the lineup.
