Detroit Tigers (Verlander) at Chicago White Sox (Danks)

Verlander is exceptionally cheap tonight (like, cheaper than Rubby De La Rosa). He pitched OK against the White Sox when he faced them twice in April but it wasn’t anything special. Take away the name and look at the numbers; Verlander is not anywhere close to what he used to be. There are a lot of good prices against Danks, though, so Detroit hitters are a great GPP target.

Nick Castellanos (3B) – $5682

I’m not shying away from White Sox tonight, particularly Adam Dunn, who is in prime position to mash the bejeezus out of Verlander tonight. For those not wanting to pay much for third base tonight, Gillaspie is a fine choice.
