Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 8

Homer Bailey

Miami Marlins (Alvarez) at Chicago Cubs (Arrieta)

Henderson Alvarez has pitched 21 scoreless innings over his last three starts but hasn’t generally pitched very well away from home this year. He also doesn’t strike out anyone and is generally prone to a lot of hits. He has a good price and that makes him a decent GPP play but I will be avoiding him in cash games. I do like a couple of their hitters a lot on this one, typically their big bats.

Giancarlo Stanton (MIA-OF) – $8687

Garrett Jones (MIA-1B) – $5497

Cubs are mostly avoidable today. They are awful against righty pitching as a team and have almost no one individually that is mashing righties. Valbuena is passable because of his price and that’s about it.

Luis Valbuena (CHC-3B) – $4884
