Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – June 8

Homer Bailey

St. Louis Cardinals (Garcia) at Toronto Blue Jays (Hutchison)

Neither pitcher are really tantalizing today, though Hutchison’s price is good enough that he makes a solid option for large GPPs. He does have that ability to shut down any offense and is priced among the third tier options. Garcia has had problems with the home run over parts of the last two seasons and that’s not good for him pitching at the Rogers Centre today.

I’m not chasing too many of the St. Louis hitters (most have them have gone cold) but I might use Carpenter. With Toronto, I’m going after their home run hitters and avoiding the support guys like Reyes and whoever starts behind the plate.

Matt Carpenter (STL-3B) – $6807

Jose Bautista (TOR-OF) – $9787

Erik Kratz (TOR-C) – $3682
