Kansas City Royals (Guthrie) at Toronto Blue Jays (Buehrle)
I will avoid both pitchers here. Guthrie is obvious why. Buehrle isn’t a terrible option because the Royals are typically a pretty bad lefty-hitting team. He is not producing high-performance outings lately, though, and I think there are better options in his price range.
I’m not chasing a lot of KC hitters because most of them are not that proficient at hitting lefties. The Jays can probably be stacked again, though most of their hitters are getting too expensive for that now. There are still decent values, though.
Lorenzo Cain (OF) – $4665
Adam Lind (1B) – $5597
Juan Francisco (3B) – $6293
