Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 20

Jose Bautista

Seattle Mariners (Iwakuma) at Texas Rangers (Lewis)

Iwakuma has been lights out so far since returning from injury and though he has to go into Arlington, the Texas hitters are last in the American League in wOBA against right-handed pitching. As far as mid-priced pitchers go, he should be solid. I do like some of their hitters tonight, though, as Colby Lewis doesn’t really represent a strong opposing pitcher.

Robinson Cano (2B) – $7681

Michael Saunders (OF) – $5226

Hisashi Iwakuma (SP) – $15,920

Colby Lewis is a pass for me and with the Texas hitters facing a rolling Iwakuma, I’ll pass on them, too.

New York Yankees (Tanaka) at Chicago Cubs (Hammel)

There is a strong chance of rain and thunderstorms all night in Chicago so rather than run the risk of taking a zero, I’ll just avoid this game altogether. I would use Tanaka but there’s no way to use him considering the weather concerns.
