St. Louis Cardinals (Wacha) at Pittsburgh Pirates (Liriano)
Wacha is one of my favorite pitchers today, both for his match-up and his price; Wacha has nine scoreless innings to his credit against Pittsburgh and is probably the best non-$20K pitcher today. I’m not really that excited about their hitters today, though.
Michael Wacha (SP) – $19,910
Allen Craig (OF) – $5705
I am most certainly staying away from the Pirates altogether today, as neither Liriano nor their hitters are great options against Wacha.
