Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 9

Michael Clifford breaks down every game of the night to find the most favorable daily fantasy baseball matchups and values.

Kansas City Royals (Vargas) at Seattle Mariners (Maurer)

Vargas is one of my favorite starters today. His price puts him as a very cheap third option while the Mariners just are not a good team against lefty starters. I’m not overly excited for the Royals hitters, even against Brandon Maurer.

Eric Hosmer (1B) – $6722

Alex Gordon (OF) – $5775

Jason Vargas (SP) – $11,758

I will be avoiding the Mariners altogether today. Maurer hasn’t proven to be a competent starter yet and the Mariners don’t offer up anything special against the lefty Vargas.
