Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 7

Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Gerrit Cole

Los Angeles Dodgers (Haren) at Washington Nationals (Strasburg)

Dan Haren has pitched very well this year but I worry about using him on the road at his price tag (most expensive non-$20K pitcher). I’ll stay away from Haren today. I do like a the idea of a couple of Dodgers hitters continuing to knock around Strasburg.

Hanley Ramirez (SS) – $6691

Juan Uribe (3B) – $5037

Stephen Strasburg might be getting unlucky but I’m not willing to pay the highest price for a pitcher on the hopes that he stops being unlucky today. For example, Wily Peralta is $5K cheaper than Strasburg today yet has been about as proficient in DFS so far this year. I’ll tread lightly here today.

Ian Desmond (SS) – $4805
