Daily Fantasy Baseball DFS Value Update and Lineup – May 4

Detroit Tigers (Verlander) at Kansas City Royals (Vargas)

Justin Verlander should be looked at as a “safe” option for today. He might not return full value on his price but he also shouldn’t tank either. It’s about expectations for this one. I’m probably going to hold off on him today. There are some good options against Vargas today, too, amongst the hitters.

Ian Kinsler (2B) – $7127

Victor Martinez (DH) – $6580

Vargas has been good this year but the Tigers scare the crap out of me and he’s been a bit off in his last couple of starts. I’d rather just avoid him today, regardless of the type of game. As always, The Country Breakfast is a solid start against Verlander.

Billy Butler (DH) – $4782
